I was browsing the archives of Teen Vogue the other day and fell in love with their spreads all over again. I used to be an avid Teen Vogue reader a few years ago, but let’s just say it’s been awhile since i last picked one of their magazines up. My love has rekindled. Here are some of my favorite looks.
November 2009

Loved this grungy, early nineties look. The early nineties are one of my favorite decades of fashion. I’m taken back to my childhood with Clueless, florals, thermals, flannels, lace-up doc martens, and crop tops. Love it!

Oh man, the early 90’s are with out a doubt my least favorite times for fashion. Clueless is a really good movie though ^__^
haha, really? i think i just love it so much because it’s what i grew up with. then again, i hated it when i was growing up. hah. Clueless is one of my favorite movies!
Yeah, the 90’s make me feel so nostalgic, kind of miss it in a way. One fashion trend I kind of would like to see come back from those times are overalls! XD
yes! i remember loving my overall shorts =)
How funny I was just telling someone thank goodness cropped tops went out in the 90s. They are just hard for most women to pull off without looking unflattering or too sexy. But I do like flannel from time to time. I just hope purple and blue lipstick doesn’t make a return!
confession: i’m wearing a crop top right now, haha. but i agree with you on the too sexy part. i only have one but i made sure it didn’t show my stomach before i bought it.
i like flannel too but i’m not sure how it looks on me. i love how flannel looks on jimmy though!
and yes, i would be very happy to not see purple and blue lipstick ever again.
That girl from the first editorial goes to the school next to me
