A few months ago I did my first Featured Blog post and you all seemed to like it, but I had to temporarily put it on hold while my husband and I are were in the moving process. Now that we’re settled in, I’m excited to start it back up! Since it started and even before then, I’ve wrestled with ideas for how I want to do this. At first I wanted to stick with interviewing one blogger a month, but just a few days ago I decided to keep doing that, but change it up a little bit too and share a few blogs I’m currently loving monthly as well! So without further ado…

First we have Alyssa of In the Wabe. Alyssa and I go way back to the Livejournal days, and I’ve loved seeing her blog and photos transform. When I decided to feature blogs, hers was the first one I thought of. Her photos alone are enough of a reason to check her blog out! She posts mostly photos of her daily life with her husband Joseph, her 365 project which is AWESOME, and don’t even get me started on her recipes. I can almost guarantee that if you look at her food posts, you will find yourself hungry. She’s also one of the biggest sweethearts ever.

Meet Catherine of See Creatures. Also a friend of the LJ days, every time her posts come up on my newsfeed I find myself having SERIOUS hair envy and basically being in awe of her beauty. Her posts mostly lean towards fashion and outfits, hair tutorials (which are my absolute favorites…check out that braid!), reviews on products, beautiful photos, and every once in a while she’ll post some of her art that is absolutely amazing. Pretty much, the girls got serious talent.

Danae of This Earthly Tent is a blogger I found more recently and well…have been hooked since. She’s a young married lady who blogs about her adventures with her husband through photos and words, outfit posts, and is very outspoken about her faith. I find her so inspiring for that reason because I’ve struggled with talking about my faith and when I read her posts, I always leave so encouraged. She is one of the bloggers I find myself being able to relate to on a different level. She also runs an insanely cute Etsy shop full of handmade headbands, hair accessories, and vintage finds.

And lastly we have Victoria of Justice Pirate. There are quite a few things I love about this girl. For one, she is a huge advocate of promoting modest fashion and helps runs the modest fashion blog, Ruby-Eyed Okapi. They also post weekly inspiring modest outfits on their Tumblr. She runs an Etsy shop, dabbles in photography, and well…it’s safe to say she does it all! And let’s not forget her outfit posts. When I look at them, I feel like I’m looking at photos from a different era. And I mean that in the best way. Every once in a while she will blog about her beautiful family and their outings together, movie and product reviews and so on. But more importantly, she is another inspiring woman of God who is very passionate when it comes to her faith.
Well, that’s it for now folks! I had so much fun doing this, I hope ya’ll enjoyed it and stay tuned for more blog love next month
In just a few hours I will be flying back to my hometown in California for a very exciting reason. My best friends wedding! I have the privilege and honor of being one of her bridesmaids. I am overwhelmed with excitement to be a part of her wedding, to be back in my hometown for a few days, spend time with my wonderful in-laws, and to basically be exposed to the SUN! haha. Unfortunately I have to say goodbye to my husband for the week and I’m not the least bit excited about that. I will probably cry because as many times as we’ve had to say goodbye, it’s always hard. But I’ll be back home before I know it!
Until California…
