California, part III.

Ahhh, the last of the California pictures. Oak Glen holds a very special place in my heart. I had no idea this tiny town in California even existed until I met Jimmy. About 30 minutes away from his hometown, he took me there for the first time shortly before we got engaged and since then, I’ve loved going back. Whenever we make trips back to California, I usually ask Jimmy if we can go to Oak Glen. I sometimes request In-N-Out, Panera, Mimi’s Cafe and a few other places to eat since we don’t have those places here, but I’d choose Oak Glen over any food. When we went it was quite empty, as they are most known for their apple orchards and apple picking season is when the place really comes to life with tons of people and festivities, but it was a bit quiet when we went at the end of November. As you can see, Auggie was asleep most of the time but I loved that he got to come and we got to be with family, especially our niece Josselyn. I had so much fun snapping pictures of her running around. We hope to come back to California again towards the end of the year and I’ll probably be the one bugging everyone to come back 🙂
