34 weeks.

And an estimated 6 weeks to go, if I don’t deliver earlier! Things have been feeling way more hectic these days. At my 36week mark I will start having 3 appointments a week, two of them being Non-stress tests to monitor the little’s heart rate, my heart rate, and contractions. These NST’s are also to keep an eye on his growth (which is now in normal limits, but better to be safe than sorry!). I had my first one this morning and it was pretty relaxing, and you can’t go wrong with listening to your sweet babe’s heartbeat for 30 minutes. Life with just the hubs and I will soon be coming to an end and it’s a tad bittersweet. Jimmy and I have been indulging in Modern Family and Game of Thrones marathons and enjoying our alone time that we’ve grown so used to and even took for granted at times. However, we are counting down until our family of two gets to be a family of three and couldn’t be more excited for more family time with our sweet boy in our arms. My favorite thing lately is seeing and hearing Jimmy brag about his son and how excited he is to be a daddy. It makes me absolutely melt!

And because I somehow feel the need to bring up the weather in every post, these were taken when we had a heat wave in Anchorage (75 degrees= heat wave). The sun has left us yet again and I’m doing my best to not stare out the window and feel sad about all this June gloom. Sun, please come back. I need more Vitamin D and my skin needs some color!

And here is what goes on behind the scenes of my backyard excursions with my partner in crime…

I love my silly little fox/dog hybrid.

tutu dress - This design is incredible! You most certainly know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Excellent job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!

Jennifer Hammer - I’ve never met a wife from JBER through blogging before, that’s awesome! I’ll be emailing you shortly 🙂

Lin - How cool! I saw one of your cute outfits on Pinterest and clicked the link and found your blog. I am an AF wife/mom at JBER also! We had our little guy last July. Will definitely be following your blog now. Glad to see somebody other ladies at Elmendorf have a fashion sense besides me!

Suzi Leigh - Love the outfit and the cute bump! It’s been in the upper 90s here and at 27 weeks I am living in the pool 🙂 So glad to see that things are going well for you and little Hammer 🙂

Victoria / Justice Pirate - you are seriously the cutest pregnant lady ever.

Mati - Oh gosh, I wish it were 75 degrees here! The past couple of days it’s been 104 and I am dying and literally burning. It’s horrible. I’ve lived in this part of Texas my whole life and I’m still not used to it. 🙁

P.S. So happy to hear all y’all are doing great!

– Mari

Gina A - I did NST’s with both kids. I loved hearing their heartbeats and seeing them on ultrasound screen twice a week. Also showed my doctor that I was in fact having contractions. I started it at 34 weeks with Isabella and 28 weeks with Isaiah.

Natalie R - So happy to hear about the progress of your little one! You guys are in our prayers!

Tiffany - You are the most adorable pregnant lady. I’m also loving seeing everyone referring to their babies as ‘littles’ lately. So cute.

Charity - girl, I know how you feel–today was the first day it has been above 65 in weeks! The sun finally came out & I couldn’t wait to put on a dress/go outside. So glad to hear your pregnancy is going well! You and your little one are still in my prayers. xo!
